Emerging Leaders Council
Believe that young professionals can make a positive impact in their community through philanthropy, volunteering and education.
Mile High United Way’s (MHUW) Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) brings the passion and philanthropic power of young professionals together to create a better community. Need to brush up on your Technology Skills?
Teaming for Technology Colorado (T4T) offers a variety of Software and Tech-Related Classes each month. The courses are taught by qualified volunteers which allows T4T to offer the classes at a very reasonable rate ($10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers, $30 for all others). Check out this month’s calendar to find a class.
Are you already an expert when it comes to technology? Well, then sign-up to be a volunteer instructor! Most classes are only 2-hours long, so it’s not a huge time commitment. Email Andy Lubansky to learn more.

How to Get Involved
If you're interested in learning more about the ELC, contact elc@unitedwaydenver.org.
|
Here's why some of our current Council Members got involved:
"I’ve always been convinced that helping the less fortunate is the best method of strengthening the community as a whole and I’ve experienced firsthand the transformation volunteering makes. Mile High United Way’s ELC is an exciting way to collaborate with a group of like-minded professionals to make an exponentially larger difference versus what we could accomplish individually."
- - Brett Dolan, PCL Construction
"The Emerging Leaders Council provides me with opportunities for professional and social networking while developing leadership skills and a commitment to philanthropic endeavors."
- - Doug Lestikow, GHP Horwath
