Where We Help: School Readiness Initiative Impact Investment Partner Organizations (effective July 2010)
Goal:  Children enter school ready to successfully learn for life.

Each of our Impact Investment partners plays provides community solutions including quality early care and education ensuring a solid scholastic foundation for all children.
Adams County District 14 - STARS Early Learning Center
STARS Early Learning Center is a preschool center in Adams 14 School District.  We offer full and part day preschool with wrap-around quality care for 3-5 year olds.
Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council
A collaborative providing high quality early education, health, mental health and family support programs and services for young children and their families in Arapahoe County.
Bal Swan Children's Center
Early intervention preschool that provides full therapy services for children with disabilities birth through six years old. Classes are fully inclusive with non-disabled children.
Catholic Charities and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Denver
Provides shelter for homeless,basic needs for vulnerable families and individuals, counseling, child welfare, support for high-risk youth and frail elderly with non-discriminatory safety-net services.
Cerebral Palsy of Colorado
Programs that create opportunities through education, employment and statewide support efforts that impact systemic and life changes for individuals and families facing disabilities or challenges.
Children's Outreach Project
Providing an integrated, quality, early childhood education to low-income children with typical, accelerated and developmentally delayed abilities with preschool programs and therapeutic services.
Clayton Early Learning Institute
Combines direct service with research, evaluation, and workforce development ensuring that children, especially those with limited opportunities, are prepared for success in school and society.
Colorado Bright Beginnings
Colorado Bright Beginnings provides parenting education and support programs at no cost to any parent/caregiver in Colorado with children, prenatal to three years of age.
Colorado Children's Campaign
Nonprofit, nonpartisan, data-based advocacy organization focused on early childhood development, K-12 education, child and family health and fiscal reform.
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
Works toward prevention/elimination of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk individuals, children and families in Colorado.
Early Childhood Partnership of Adams County
A local collaboration working to increase child school readiness and well-being through partnerships, public engagement and implementing projects to bridge identified community gaps.
Early Excellence
Promotes and offers high-quality educational services to young children and provides job-training and job development to help Colorado families achieve self-sufficiency.
Family Star
Family Star provides a high quality early childhood Montessori education program and support services to Denver’s low-income families.
Friends of the Haven
Supporting the Haven where pregnant women and and their infant children recover from addictions, deliver drug-free infants and become self-sufficient, productive members of the community.
HOPE Center
Provides early childhood education and support services for at-risk and gifted children and vocational training for developmentally disabled adults.
Invest in Kids
Invest in Kids' mission is to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable young children and families throughout Colorado through research-based, proven programs.
Jeffco Public Schools - Family Literacy
Jeffco HIPPY empowers parents as primary educators of their children and fosters parent involvement in school and community life maximizing successful, early school experiences.
The Kempe Foundation
Kempe supports direct clinical services, training, research, public awareness and education, advocacy and consultation programs for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
Mile High Montessori Early Learning Centers
Provides comprehensive early childhood education and care to low-income children from infancy to 5 years using a modified Montessori approach to learning.
Mount Saint Vincent Home
A home and school serving abused, neglected or mentally ill girls and boys. We provide for their emotional, physical, educational and mental health needs.
Mountain Resource Center
Our "neighbors helping neighbors" mission provides crisis assistance, pediatric health clinic, parenting/early childhood classes, workforce center, and domestic violence services to the mountain communities.
Parent Pathways
Provides academic, parenting, healthcare, career readiness, and life-skills training to high risk pregnant and parenting teens and best practice developmental childcare to their children.
Qualistar Early Learning
Qualistar Early Learning works to improve the quality of Colorado’s early care and education programs and helps parents find and choose high quality child care.
Reach Out and Read Colorado
Reach Out and Read trains doctors to advise parents about the importance of reading and give books to children at checkups 6 months -5 years.
Sewall Child Development Center
Provides preschool and other educational and therapeutic programs for young children (birth-age 5) with special needs associated with development delays, disabilities, and economic disadvantages.
Warren Village
Unique family community helping motivated low-income, previously homeless single-parent families move from public assistance to personal and economic self-sufficiency.
Washington Street Community Center
Organization that unites neighbors and neighborhoods of south central Denver. An intergenerational gathering place for the community and a center providing services to meet the needs of families, seniors, children and adults.
YMCA of Metropolitan Denver
Provides childcare, preschool and early childhood education, before /after-school care, camp, teen leadership, youth /adult sports, at-risk youth programs, adult fitness/ health/ wellness activities.
