Lights on After School
Providing Students with a Safe and Educational Place to Go AfterschoolLights on After School is a simple concept. Keep students engaged in safe, quality, supervised afterschool programs and they’re more likely to stay in school, succeed in the classroom and graduate from high school. In metro Denver, Mile High United Way partners with the Afterschool Alliance, the Denver Public School Foundation, the City of Denver, Jefferson County Schools and Commerce City Schools to bring Lights on After School to thousands of students. In 2010, 5,094 students participated in the Lights on Afterschool programs. |
