Individual Development Accounts

The Individual Development Accounts (IDA) Program is a matched savings program designed to help low-income individuals and families build financial assets to purchase a home, start or grow a small business or pay for college tuition or vocational education.

Though the IDA Program is no longer accepting applications, we are excited to continue work with our current participants and partners.

During the 2013-2014 fiscal year, 252 participants had an open IDA, and 56 new IDAs were opened. Twenty-six individuals purchased a home, 35 started or expanded a small business, and 49 used IDAs to pursue post-secondary education.
